Westside FM hosts Uxbridge Xmas Lights Event

Westside FM kicked off the festive season in style by hosting the Uxbridge Town Centre Xmas lights switch on show.

“The Breakdown's” Illatek & “The Chart Show’s” Eve hosted the event in front of hundreds of people waiting to see the spectacular lights be lit up on the Christmas tree in front of The Chimes and Pavillions shopping centres.



The show kicked off at 3pm with fantastic performances by 2009 ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ contestant Shaun Smith, The Dolly rockers from X Factor 2006 and Cheryl Cole’s boy Ethan from X Faxtor 2009.



Local acts and dance groups joined the stage and Westside’s very own DJ Drapes from “Drive Time” got on the decks to spin the music for the afternoon making it a fun filled family event for the Christmas season!



At 5pm the Christmas lights were turned on by Santa and his famous helpers on stage with a chocolate give away, and competitions won throughout the day with vouchers for The Chimes and Pavilion shopping centre with beauty treatment gift coupons too.
